TRIBUTE TO MY IRREPLACEABLE SISTER
Ehi my sister, you can never be replaced in my life. You showed me love and all your family. You showed us what it meant to truly care. You were a selfless giver; you gave even your last to both your family and friends.
You stood for the defenseless; you always preferred to sacrifice your comfort for the welfare of others. You were a problem solution; a power house with a heart of gold. You were always ready to go the extra mile for anyone you know. The Deborah of our Time.
I am finding comfort in the belief that you are now in a better place, resting peacefully with the Lord
Help ease the pain. Pain is gone now, my sister Ehi. I will always remember that Wednesday the 10th of January 2024 when I closed from church, I stopped by to see you, as I always do. I made sure I see you every other day, I saw that my beloved sister was not the same as before. You were not able to call my names; then I knew that the Lord was already by you, calling you to come and rest.
On the 12th, I was also in your house, but did not see anyone. I called your phone, no reply. I called that of your husband too, no reply, my heart failed me.
Goodbye my sister Ehi, I will miss you everyday of my life as a dear sister. Your memories will forever be in my heart. The ache of missing you is an indescribable void that only God can create.
Until we reunite my sister Ehi, this is not a Goodbye, but a see you later my sister. Rest in peace until we meet again.
From your sister,
Pastor Mrs.Esther Aderibigbe
TRIBUTE TO AN AMAZON, A RARE GEM. A QUINTESSENTIAL AND LOVING SISTER, AN UNFORGETABLE JEWEL. A WOMAN THAT WAS A MAGNET THAT ATTRACTED MANY AND DIFFERENT PEOPLE AT DIFFERENT TIMES. A GIVER OF EXCELLENCE. A GREAT ACHIVER, AN ASSET TO ALL EVEN AT DEATH. GENEROSITY ARE THE CONTENT OF YOUR CHARACTER. DEACONESS PATIENCE EHISIONAME OSAROBO-IYAMU.
The dictionary fails me in your true definition.Β
How can I ever forget your love for me and my household? To say that I will miss you is an understatement. Well, I feel honored and privileged to have been your sister and friend. You were a sister anyone could wish for.Β
From my primary school days, you would always protect my interest and shower your love for me. You fought my course and were always ready to reply to those who insulted me. Words would fail me if I didnβt say how you left Edokplo primary school for Payne primary school with a word βif anybody talks any how come and call me, I will beat themβ and because my schoolmates knew your school was just a stone throw, no one ever dared to molest me, knowing you were always there for me. Your name in our school days instils fear into all.Β Β Β Β
In secondary school, you would leave the hostel while all were in school, to sell in the New Benin market and whenever you came back to school, you would buy Izovbioko (Leaf rice) for my friends and me, just to encourage them to stay by me. You were a year and a few months my senior, but you treated me as a child from your womb who needed to suck every day. How can I ever forget you?Β
Β
My sister Ehisioname [Mama Nosa] popularly called was an inspiring soul, always there for all especially those who came to her with needs.Β
You never had a dull moment, even in your trying times. A fearless and dogged fighter, an advocate of hard work whose life was exemplary, pivoted upon generosity, firmness and resilience were your traits.Β
Β
An inspirational mother, entrepreneur par excellence and you were a woman of iconic virtue who sacrificed herself for the betterment of humanity.Β
When I started Ministry (The Word of God is True), you encouraged me, you will come with friends and some market women. You would come to our church first before going to your church, all to inspire me for months and years. You clothed the choir members.Β
Β
How can I ever forget you, my immediate elder sister and friend, who would share clothes at every event, knowing that you would be present to encourage others to come at any invitation?Β
Mama Nosa oooβ¦β¦ I called you, Ehisioname, Otenwen no ghan, Ovbiyemwen ne ose mwen, who will fill your space (JESUS).Β
You treated me as your advocate, counselor, and confidant. You relied on my advice and will not wave.Β
You were always proud and happy to introduce me to anyone as your junior sister who is a judge and that if they talk to you how your junior sister ELIZA will jail them. I can remember one judgment I delivered as a sitting trial judge concerning a woman in the market they were celebrating me and never knew you were my blood sister all for you to call me to celebrate me in the market for the sound and unbiased judgment. How can I ever forget you?Β
A sister in a zillion, an encourager, even in pain and trying moments you will always tell me you are fine and very OK, that I should not worry myself.Β Β
I wish I could pray for you to come back to this planet Earth a thousand times. But I know there is an expiring date and time for everyone. (Ecc.3:1-3)Β
You lived for 65years but it was like 165 years. You impart lives too numerous to mention. You have played your part on this side of Eternity. You lived a fulfilled life..Β
A jolly good fellow and it was always joy, happiness, and fun to be with you, for to you, no dull moment and nothing is permanent on earth.Β
You lived for others, no wonder Apostle Paul exclaimed and admonished us in Romans 14:7 βNone of us liveth to himself and no man dieth to himself.Β
This is very comforting to me and I rest my pen on the fact that there is a resurrection morning. Good night my sister, black and beautiful gold. Thanks for being a generous aunt to my children, thank you for trusting me with your life, thank you for loving me so much, and thank you for being an integral part of my life. Never to be forgotten in a hurry.Β
Okhien owie EhisionameΒ
Okhien owie ovbiye mwen no ghanΒ
Okhien owie ovbiye mwen ne ose mwenΒ
Okhien owie, Okhien owie, owie no okhua, agha mie egbeΒ
Aghe mie egbe vbe arrioba Osalobua.Β
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, write, blessed are the dead which die in the LORD from henceforth, yea saith the Spirit that they may rest from their labours: and their works follow them. [Revelation 14:13]
A Giver of excellence has departed unto glory! The DORCAS of our time. Deaconess Patience Osarobo Iyamu lived a fulfilled life. She transverses this side of eternity and leaves indelible footprints on the sands of time. Posterity will continue to glean from the kindhearted life this Amazon lived. You were one of the first to buy microphone for the church. The standing fan you bought when the church was seven days old is still working. For five good years, you were always sharing materials for members and visitors, twice a year, you shared choir uniforms and cheered them up at your church invitation. Without any doubt, you lived well and the grace of God sustained you to the end. We are all consoled by the fact that your absence from the body means presence with the Lord. As we mark the passing of this great Amazon, I pray that the Lord will watch over and keep the immediate and extended family and all her concerns, in Jesusβ name, Amen. We will miss her but heaven has gained her.
“Your memory is a beacon of love that illuminates my heart, lingering in my mind with warmth and tenderness. Your selflessness, love, inspiration, honor, and compassion continue to inspire me daily. You were not just a mother but also a cherished friend, and I am grateful our paths crossed in this lifetime.
While we mourn the inevitability of your passing, I find solace in the time we shared. Your embodiment of Proverbs 22:1 β a good name is more desirable than great riches β serves as a testament to your character and legacy.
My husband (Rev. Famous Iguma), I.k, Precious, Princess also miss you.
Rest in Peace till we meet to part no more.
Elder Helen Iguma (Mama I.k).
Where do I even start, my sweet sister who was a beacon of sweetness and strength, a friend who became a true sister to my heart. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion that touched the lives of many, mine included. Through every challenge, her unwavering support was a source of solace, creating a tapestry of shared moments that I'll forever hold dear. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her memory will forever echo in the laughter and love we shared. As I say goodbye, I find comfort in the countless times she stood by me, and I will forever be grateful for the sisterhood we forged. Keep resting my sweet sister , I will always love you.
Mrs Aigbe.

Death is inevitable we know but the good ones really needs to stop dying too early because the world is already too cruel and we need these angels around us. My sweet mother, how I miss you so much. Itβs still hard for me to believe you are no more. Of the million benevolent hand you stretch towards myself and my family I will never forget the day you took the place of my late mother. You came to pay a condolence visit after I had lost my mom, seeing how full the house was you said to me, βmama Uyi nor be small crowd dey here oooβ and in the evening of it you stock up my house with food items and a huge amount of cash. You are a special breed indeed. Your legacy shall be a lifelong highlight my sweet mother. Keep resting in the bosom of the lord for we all love you but God loves you mostπ.
Mama Uyi.
Iye as I always called Mama was a pillar in my career when I needed one. She was a source of encouragement and will patronize the brands I represented no matter how far the physical branches were from her. She was a mother and a veritable source of referrals whenever I called on her.
It’s still very difficult to be writing or thinking of Iye in past tenses but I know because of her unwavering faith in God and service in his vineyard she will have her place by the lord’s side.
Farewell Iye , Rest in Power till we meet again.
Mrs Daniella Omojowo

As I put down these few words to your memory, I feel such a great sense of loss and grief. Words alone cannot adequately express how I beheld you and what your passing means to me.you were more than an aunty to me. You were a gift from heaven above. If I were to describe you in one word, I would say "kindness". You were truly an inspiration to me. Thank God for the exemplary life you lived.
Rest in peace,Mama Nosa. Juliet Anogie.
May her gentle soul RIPP. πππ We love you mama; but God loves you more. Sun Re o
Your memory forever lingers On Big Mummy "PEOPLE MAMA " IYENOGIE !
I got to know Mrs Patience Iyamu in the course of carrying out my professional duties. Not long after, I came to the realisation that the fact that our paths crossed was God-ordained. She became a friend, a reliable and kind-hearted one at that. She was a strong and hardworking lady who cared for others more than herself. She sure obeyed God's tenet of Jesus first, yourself last and others in between. Though older than her, I learnt a lot from Mrs Patience Iyamu. She gave of herself, her resources to others without expecting a reward or payback. Her giving and compassionate spirit were unequalled. She was, indeed, a rare gem. I sore miss her but I am consoled that she is in a better place where there is no pain, no sorrow, no crying. Rest in peace.
